The All-Sweet Watermelons are perfect to take to the beach. These large, striped melons weigh about 25-28 pounds and are packed with very sweet flesh high in vitamins A, B, and C. It's a main season favorite with melons that are 17-19 inches long and 7 inches in diameter.

Growing Info: 95-100 days to mature after germination. Start seeds indoors 4 weeks before transplanting outdoors. Take care not to disturb the roots when transplanting. Or sow 6 seeds over a hill 9-12 inches tall and 2 feet across. When plants are 3 inches tall, thin by cutting to 3 plants per hill. Use a balanced fertilizer to increase yield.
Suggestions: Choose a site with good drainage, good air circulation, and full sun. Ready to harvest when the skin on the underside turns yellow and when a thump with knuckles produces a hollow sound.
