Watermelon - B Moon & Stars (Organic) Blue Skin
The Moon & Stars Watermelon is a unique variety with very sweet, bright red flesh. This legendary variety was rediscovered in rural Missouri. The large oval fruits weigh up to 40 pounds and the dark blue green skin is speckled with bright yellow splashes ranging from star to moon size. The leaves are also speckled.

Growing Info: 95-100 days to mature after germination. Start seeds indoors 4 weeks before transplanting outdoors. Take care not to disturb the roots when transplanting. Or sow 6 seeds over a hill 9-12 inches tall and 2 feet across. When plants are 3 inches tall, thin by cutting to 3 plants per hill. Use a balanced fertilizer to increase yield.
