The Contender Bush Snap Bean, also known as the Buff Valentine Bush Snap Bean (Phaseolus vulgaris) is a tasty bean that is easy to grow as it is a disease resistance strain. This bean produces high yields of 5 1/2" pods Fairly hardy under adverse conditions and well suited to greenhouse use. Resistant to common bean mosaic virus (race 1) and tolerant of powdery mildew.
