Red Cherry Tomatoes, also known as Old Fashioned Red Tomatoes (Solanum lycopersicum) have been around since before the 1840's. This plant produces bright red 1-inch fruits, that are sweet, tangy and juicy. The plant grows vigorously, so much so that it tends to outgrow some diseases! Resistant to fruit-worm and high temperatures. Note: This variety of tomato is the small Red Cherry, not the Large Red Cherry commonly used as a salad tomato.
