Corn - Sweet Kandy Korn Hybrid
Sweet Corn Kandy Korn Hybrid is a yellow sugar enhanced (SE) sweet corn that was bred for improved germination and vigor in cool weather. It's got extra-sweet, tender kernels that retain their sweetness for 3-5 days after picking. This late variety grows to be 8 feet tall with maroon-streaked leaves.

Growing Info: 89 days to mature after germination. Sow seed directly in the garden after all danger of frost is past and soil is warm. Plant 1 seed every 4 inches. Thin to 1 plant every 12 inches when plants are 4 inches tall. Control weeds with a mulch and keep plants well-watered, especially when tops begin to tassel.
Suggestions: For better ear fill, plant a number of short rows together instead of a single long row. This helps ensure pollination. For plenty of corn all season, plant early and late varieties.
