Squash - Waltham Butternut
Waltham Butternut Squash (cucurbita moschata) is one of the best, most popular varieties of winter squash with a sweet, nutty taste similar to that of a pumpkin. It's outer beige skin is hard and thick whilst the inside flesh is orange. Its sweet, dry, orange-colored flesh makes it ideal for baking, as well as for pies.
