The early Snowball Cauliflower Y is a very sure-heading variety with large, white heads of delicious flavor. This cool weather crop is low in fat content and a good source of vitamins A and C.

Growing Info: 60-70 days to mature after germination. Sow outdoors by placing 2 seeds together every 2 feet in a row. Thin to 1 plant every 2 feet when plants are 1 inch tall. When heads are 2-3 inches across, blanch by tying outer leaves over the heads. Harvest in about 2 weeks.   

Suggestions: Cauliflower needs plenty of water and fertilizer. It's a good producer again when planted in summer for a fall harvest just before the first frost.
