Muskmelon - Eden Gem (Organic)
The Eden Gem Muskmelon (Cucumis melo), also known as Rocky Ford Melon, is a round Cantaloupe fruit that is sweet and tasty. The 4-6" fruits are 2-3 lbs. on average. The outside skin is rough and hard, and the inside flesh is green-to-orange and juicy. The Eden Gem Muskmelon is highly resistant to rust, and it holds up well in the garden.

Growing Info: 89 days. Melons require a loose, warm, sandy soil of pH7 to reach their full potential. Melons will not thrive on soil that is below pH6. Space plants 12-18” apart in rows 5-6’ apart. Best to soak the ground or the potting soil heavily before inserting seeds as overwatering can cause seeds to rot. Muskmelon seeds emerge in 5+ days. Lightly water soil around day 3 or 4. Ripe melons develop a sweet aroma and an ivory-yellow coloring.
