Kale - Vates (Organic)
Kale belongs to a group of cabbage grown for their edible leaves which are green or purple, and unlike cabbage, the central leaves do not form a head. Some Kale is used as ornamentals. The Vates Kale (Brassica oleracea and Brassica napus) has loose leaves which are resistant to yellowing due to heat. The very flavorful leaves are good in salads, but best when steamed.
