Pepper - Ají Dulce (Organic)
The Ají Dulce Pepper (Capsicum sp.) is a variety of sweet perennial peppers found in Latin America and the Caribbean. It has the same shape, size, color and aroma as Habanero Peppers, but it's much milder, even sweet and spicy, with a delicious smoky flavor. The highly aromatic fruits have complex flavors with overtones of black pepper and coriander. It is an excellent choice for sautéed vegetables, conch salad, rice and bean dishes, and more.

Growing Info: 99 days. Seedlings grow slowly at first but grow rapidly later in the season to 48" or more. The plants have good foliage cover and bear when 18" tall. The peppers change color from green to orange-red and finally to red. The fruits are 1" x 2" tapering at both ends.
