Cucumber - Ashley (Organic)
The Ashley Cucumber (cucumis sativus) is recommended for hot, humid areas. Developed in South Carolina, this heirloom variety of cucumber is resistant to some forms of fungus and diseases including Good Downy Mildew. The Ashley Cucumber has productive vines that produce 6–8-inch dark-green fruits, tapered on the stem end. A popular variety in the Southeast, these cucumbers are commonly sold in farmer’s markets.
