Roquette Arugula (Organic)
Roquette or Rocket Arugula, is one of the most nutritious green-leafy vegetables of Mediterranean origin. It is a small, low growing plant with long finger-like leaves with green veins. This arugula has a pleasant nutty flavor at baby leaf stage and a pungent peppery flavor when mature and seen with dark green leaves. Use in green salads, cooking, and on top of your pizza. Greens past their prime may be steamed lightly.
Growing Info: 40 days. Spring and fall plantings recommended. Distinctive, sharp, peppery leaves are best harvested when 2-3 inches long. Greens past their prime may be lightly steamed.
