The Red Acre Cabbage (Brassica oleracea) is a type of small-head cabbage, about 5 to 7 inches in diameter and weighing about 3 lbs. Red Acre Cabbages are an excellent storage variety with resistance to yellowing. The reddish-purple cabbage leaves are great in adding color to coleslaw and other dishes.
