Coriander (Coriander sativum) is an annual herb in the Apiaceae family. It is also known as Chinese Parsley or Cilantro. All parts of the plant are edible, but the fresh leaves and the dried seeds are the bits most traditionally used in cooking. The seeds are generally known as Coriander, or Coriander Seeds, and the leaves are generally known as Cilantro.
Growing Info: Plant monthly successions. Difficult to start in hot weather - sow in shade, or keep soil covered and cool until seedlings emerge. Self-sows in cool weather.
